“Evidence relating to your Client’s familial ties to the UK was requested, along with documentation to evidence that he met the relevant requirements of Appendix FM to be granted a spouse visa (financial and relationship evidence) and evidence relating to the illhealth of Mrs Xxx’s mother to demonstrate insurmountable obstacles and extenuating circumstances.”

“In an email Mrs Xxx sent to our Client right at the outset on 1 February 2021 she said “He agreed to look after my mother so that it enabled me to work.”

Mother had already moved into a care home on 1 September 2020.
